This year (2025) I started teaching a new class (#82606) on turbulent flows.

The covered topics will include turbulence phenomenology, theory and observations of homogenous 3d turbulence, homogenous 2d turbulence, shear turbulence, convective turbulence, and boundary layer turbulence.

The class is meant for graduate students of oceanic and atmospheric dynamics, geophysics, astrophysics, and related fields. Third year undergrads also welcome, given a proper background
