Since 2024 I have been teaching graduate class 84827, Classical Papers in the Earth Sciences. We read and discuss some of the game-changing classics of a diverse range of topics in earth sciences, from the thermohaline circulation, to the ice ages, to continental drift. I find that understanding the sources of a scientific field builds a unique perspective and understanding of its significance and meaning. Come join the fun!
